- I have the same problem here with a mac mini. I bought snow leopard as upgrade to leopard and now I cant get iPhoto. Even more annoying my Iphoto version has pop ups telling me there is an update available. However it´s not possible to download since it's supposed to run on Lion. My computer is 4 years old now which I think is not too old.
- Additionally, there are circumstances where users looking to update from Snow Leopard or OS X Lion may want to go to OS X Mountain Lion instead of Mavericks for compatibility reasons, or to avoid some of the potential issues discussed here by readers with Mail app and iCloud syncing that have frustrated some using current versions of 10.9.1.
- Apple today released a pair of software updates via Software Update and its support download pages, bringing an updated version of iPhoto and a fix for font issues on Mac OS X Snow Leopard.
- We don't have any change log information yet for version 10.6.8 of Snow Leopard Mac OS X 10.6.8. Sometimes publishers take a little while to make this information available, so please check back in a few days to see if it has been updated.

Mac OS Leopard 10.5 is the sixth release by Mac OS for Apple’s desktop and server operating system for Macintosh computers. It is available in two editions: for desktop or personal computers and server version (Mac OS X Server). The retail price for the desktop version is $129 and $499 for the server version. It was released on October 26, 2007.
You can also restore to Snow Leopard from your Time Machine backups. Just select the last backup made under Snow Leopard. See Time Machine - Frequently Asked Question #14 for details.
Iphoto For Mac
You can then restore selected items from subsequent Lion backups, via Time Machine's 'Star Wars' display, per #15 in the same link. But some Snow Leopard apps won't work with the Lion version of the files. This is true of Mail, and may be true of others. But of course that's the same, whether your Lion data is on Time Machine, a clone, or just drag & drop copies.
